EkCommerce ("we", "us") provides software that lets sellers in Nepal create and run online stores. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it. By using EkCommerce you agree to the practices described here.
Account data: your name, phone number, and email when you sign up as a seller.
Store data: products, prices, images, and settings you add to your store.
Order data: buyer name, phone, delivery address, and order details processed through your store.
Usage data: device, browser, and analytics about how the service is used to keep it secure and reliable.
To operate your store, process orders, send notifications (e.g. WhatsApp/SMS), and provide support.
To improve the product, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We share data only with service providers needed to run EkCommerce — for example SMS gateways, payment processors (eSewa, Khalti), and hosting/database providers — and only as required to deliver the service.
Buyers’ order details are shared with the seller of the store where the order was placed, not across stores.
We keep account and store data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us. Buyers can request deletion of their data through the seller or by contacting us directly.
